Dear Havyakare,
Thanks to you all who made it to HBUK Event 2016 in Basingstoke. It’s a great feeling to see lots of Havyaka Families from different part of the United Kingdom coming together and celebrating the Havyaka Snehakoota!!
It was great to see the enthusiasm and participation from our community in spite of it being a Bank Holiday week end. The organising committee would like to extend a BIG Thanks to everyone who made it on the day!!
Thanks to our chief guest Professor Kolari Bhat and all the respected Senior members of Havyaka Community who were present on the day. Special thanks to all the kids and talented Havyaka performers for giving us such a wonderful cultural performance! Special thanks to Ms Sandya Bhat for the wonderful Bharatanatyam, Mr Yogindra Maravanthe and Kumari Sunidhi Maravanthe for an excellent Yakshagana and our special thanks to Kala Arts for showcasing the Odissi dance performance!!
We also thank all our volunteers for their continuous support leading up to the event and on the day of the event. Our special thanks to Mr Joe Bhat for sponsoring the Havyaka Website development and we would appreciate more and more Havyakas in the UK to continue to sponsor future initiatives to host much more eventful and exciting events!!
We had a mouth watering Live Dosa stall set up by Sangeeta Restaurant from Hounslow. We thank them for providing a smooth lunch and coffee/Tea service.
